The Smugglers Den is a family-run pub, offering a traditional cosy environment in which to enjoy a real pub experience. In the winter months you will always find the large open fire roaring to warm your toes, and in the summer a cool refreshing breeze blows in from the sea when we open the back door. There is also a lovely little sheltered beer terrace which traps the sun.

The Smuggler's Den is Morecambe's oldest pub and contains a large collection of fascinating maritime and other ancient artefacts.

We are now able to offer a parcel collection scheme, as featured on UseYourLocal.com To take advantage of this you will need to register on their site and then select The Smugglers Den as your local. This service is completely free of charge.

We operate a strict policy regarding the use of foul language, we simply do not tolerate it. Offenders receive 1 warning only before being asked to leave. Please bear this in mind if you do visit us, as we do not wish to cause offence.

We are normally open every day between noon and midnight (Monday to Saturday) and from noon until 11.30pm on Sundays, so why not pop in and join us for a drink. For enquiries please telephone 01524 421684.
