We currently serve Adnam's cask as well as John Smith's Smooth, Boddingtons smooth and Guinness. We regularly feature two guest ales which normally come 'on tap' on a Friday and stay on until sold through, normally gone by the following Tuesday. Currently Black Sheep bitter is in as our long term guest.
We are proud of our cask ale and try to maintain it in the best possible condition. If you have a particular favourite and you are a regular of the pub then please enquire as to whether or not it can be obtained as a guest beer. We have had both Timothy Taylors Landlord and Sharp's Doombar on that basis before and currently Black Sheep bitter.
Here at The Smugglers Den we rotate our guest ales regularly and often feature many different small real ale brewers. As the only members of CAMRA to own a pub in Morecambe ourselves we wish to make sure that real ales will continue to thrive and be enjoyed by future generations. All CAMRA members who produce their membership card are entitled to 10p off a pint of rea ale, cider or perry.
The Lunesdale Branch of CAMRA will hold their July meeting here on Thursday 10th July 2008 commencing at 8pm sharp. Following this will be the pub fun quiz and all members are welcome to enjoy, teams to a maximum of 6 players and £1 entry cost per player.
We are proud to be winners of the Abbot Ale Perfect Pub Award for Cask Ale in the Granada TV Region 2007
Why not join us for our weekly fun quiz on a Thursday night? A friendly atmosphere awaits you, and a cash prize is on offer for the winning team.
